In your role as Maintenance Manager you are responsible for planning, developing, directing and monitoring preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities so that the organization's production lines, equipment operate reliably, cost efficiently and according to safety standards. All achievements should be serving customer expectations in a safe manner.  

Your core activities will be:

• Responsible for safe, efficient and effective execution of maintenance activities
• Responsible for implementation and acceptance of best practices in the area of Safety and compliance, supports the safety culture
• Planning and directing maintenance activities, establishing new procedures and guidelines for efficient high availability
• Ensuring high integrity of refinery for availability, safety and compliance in a cost effective manner
•  Setting and monitoring the performance of execution, preventive maintenance and equipment integrity
• Ensuring that risk management principles are met
• Developing people and enabling their results
• Leading performance by continuous dialogue and development. Linking targets and KPIs to function strategy and business needs
• Developing and implementing a variety of operating principles and procedures (in conjunction with subject matter experts) to ensure that the maintenance area meets its current and future production targets and quality standards.

Site leadership based upon customer criteria is driving the agenda of Maintenance department.

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is:

Education/Expercience

• Acadamic study in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance and management in process industry (downstream processes), dealing with experts, blue collar and management.

Interactive skills

• communicating easily at all levels in the organiation
• is approachable and a good listener with self-confidence
• achieves results by enabling the team to create solutionss and can be sparring partner if required.
