General responsibilities:

• Manage key controlling processes, notably the annual budget and the periodical forecast processes 
• Support the operations through business analysis and implementation of management reports and financial KPI's
• Ensure and control local financial procedures are fully aligned with corporate financial policies

Finance and Controlling:

• Financial control: Ensure the accuracy of the reporting of financial data to ARAH controlling. Control the accuracy of books recorded by the Accounting Share Service Center according to the groups IFRS and statutory accounting principles, Bureau Veritas administrative procedures and local group standards
• Business insights: Provide accurate management information to the team regarding business insights e.g. drivers of growth, variance analysis, margin analysis, analysis of opportunities and risks, investment analysis, efficiency gains, etc.
• Recommendations & advice: Formulate recommendations and concrete action plans and monitor the realization & progress. Challenge the teams and support them with financial advice and financial foresights in their ambition and initiatives in line with the strategy of the company
• Costs controlling: Carry out a corporate business line cost controlling
• Budget & Forecasting: Coordinate the control and planning cycles (e.g. year plans, business updates and estimates)
• Information and knowledge: Organise financial training for business line teams concerning financial know-how and the leverage of financial understanding
• Contribute to the protection of assets of Bureau Veritas

Leadership:

• Act as business partner
• Provide operational support by coordinating interfaces to responsible Managers in organisational units
• Participate in organisation (prepare, execute, follow-up) of regular management meetings

• University degree or completed vocational education (business or finance field)
• Minimum 5 to 10 years professional experiences in similar financial controlling role, within multinational environment (accounting companies preferable) or in a Big Four 
• Excellent English in written & spoken form 
• At least basic knowledge of IFRS
• High level analytic skills
• Advanced user MS Office (especially Excel - pivot tables, graphs, Power point etc.)
