Position purpose

Maintenance of quality system work process and standards, test protocols, procedures including preventive- and corrective plans.
Maintain the equipment in optimal working/operating condition, know when to declare equipment obsolete or unnecessary.
Maintain the data on available spares and maintain the criticality.
Responsible for identification and capable to define the technical scope, recurring problems and give advice about new equipment.
Work and think about specifications for existing and new equipment.
Provide input to reliability programs.
Manage the KPI’s on dedicated streams.
Trouble shooting, fault analysis, first line diagnostics, identify performance problems and first fix capability.
Construction manufacturing: quality control, final control, commissioning and life test performance.
Commissioning: handover documents and administration.
Configuration Maintenance: create, modify store as built documents.
Provide technical advice to approve MOC.
Supervision: Quality and acceptance of corrective results for external party (5 – 10 fte)
Planning, Permit review, Job owner.

Key tasks and responsibilities, but not limited to

Manage the workflow regarding maintenance third party.
Supervise the work of the maintenance technicians within our contractor pool (electrical, instrumentation, pumps, valves, predictive-, preventive-, corrective maintenance).
Plan and oversee all installation and repair activities.
Assists and coordinates the safe, timely and cost-effective overall Turnaround process the annual 2 months Turnaround shut down involves contacting and coordinating external maintenance suppliers in all over scope electrical and instrumentation and combined work of multiple disciplines.
Ensure that all production plant installations, systems and facilities are in excellent condition for 24/7 production purposes and provide proactive support/solutions when required.
Analyse equipment needs, reliability issues, developing preventive-predictive maintenance programs and ensure implementation.
Develop maintenance procedures, ensure implementation and in compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
Maintain and update digital Maintenance logbooks on all maintenance
Manage and maintain positive relationships with contractors and service providers.
Conducting daily performance dialogs to initiate problem solving and improvement activities.
Assuring operational excellence through training and knowledge sharing together with all other departments.
In the event of incidents/calamities; initiate, coordinate and fulfill an operational leadership role in the site’s emergency plan.

Job specifications (knowledge, skills, qualifications, etc.)

+5-years´ previous working experience in a similar Maintenance position.
A degree or Technical Knowledge gained thorough job experience in mechanical and industrial environment. Completed MBO mechanical engineering course or at least an equivalent MBO level diploma.
Deep working knowledge of engineering, electrical, hydraulic, instrumental, mechanical systems, is a plus. Handling various hand tools (pneumatic and electric), machines and measuring instruments. Carrying out (dis)assembly, repair and adjustment work on the mechanical parts of the company installations (static and rotating).
Being able to adjust complicated measuring and control technology control circuits.
Being able to work and solve simple problems in the various operating systems.
Being able to work with the various means of communication for the factory equipment.
Hands-on experience in planning an executing maintenance operations and trouble shooting.
Proven experience within Maintenance organisation.
Strong time management and organizational skill.
Demonstrated ability to apply best practices and safety procedures.
Demonstrated ability to assess and improve individual and team performance.

A native Dutch speaker and proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
