Senior E&I Technician

As our Sr E&I Technician your main responsibility will be to organize work preparation in an autonomous and practical way and to perform high-quality maintenance (preventive), malfunction-related (corrective) and project-based tasks on equipment from A-Z in order to guarantee reliable, safe and efficient production and to prevent rework as much as possible.

*Investigating, determining and reporting the scope of maintenance.
*Preparation and execution of more complex and/or mission-critical, preventive maintenance tasks.
*Applying for work permits for the execution of all possible tasks and the execution of task-risk analyses.
*Providing input to the work preparation of the shutdown (planning, task content).
*Hiring E&I contractors.
*Linking data for specifications, signaling and anticipation of stock supplies.
*Supervising technicians at levels 3, 4 and 5.
*Perform complex, cohesive maintenance tasks.
*Taking care of E&I specific safety racks.
*Maintaining and updating E&I data.
*Managing contractors during shutdowns or small projects.

In some cases, the work can be carried out in hard-to-reach locations, including heights.

*In-depth specialization E/I, with a great penchant for Instrumentation and less E
*A relevant MBO diploma level 4
*8-12 years of relevant work experience
*Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English language
*Knowledge of the EHS procedures such as suffocation, acid and hydrogen gases is a plus

Besides this you are willing / prepared to
*Do individual overtime work if necessary (sporadically)
*Run breakdown service 1 x in 6 weeks for a week from Thursday to Thursday morning.
*Sporadically perform E&I work at another Air Products branch abroad (Europe)
*Follow in- and external application training such as electrical switching authority, VCA full, NEN3140 elek vop, flanges fit training.
