Are you an experienced HSEQ professional who thrives in a dynamic field-based environment? We are looking for a Field Supervisor HSEQ to be the eyes and ears of the HSEQ Manager at our brand-new Rotterdam terminal. In this role, you will ensure that safety, health, environmental, and quality standards are not only met but continuously improved.

This is not just a compliance role, you will be actively involved in daily operations, working directly in the terminal. If a problem arises, you don’t just report it, you take action and ensure solutions are implemented. You will be a key counterpart for operations and maintenance teams, as well as external authorities and contractors.

As the Field Supervisor HSEQ, you will help set the safety culture from the ground up, ensuring that both employees and contractors operate in a safe and compliant environment.

• Conduct daily safety inspections across terminal and berth operations

• Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies, BRZO, ISPS, ISO standards, and other relevant regulations

• Identify and resolve potential safety risks before they escalate

• Take ownership of incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented

• Supervise permit-to-work and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures

• Provide on-site coaching to employees and contractors on safety practices

• Support emergency response drills and security procedures

• MBO degree, preferably MVK (Middelbaar Veiligheidskundige)

• 5+ years of experience in safety supervisor role on the workfloor within the oil & gas, terminal, or logistics industry

• Strong knowledge of Dutch HSEQ regulations and industry best practices

• Experienced in working with operational safety processes like Permit to Work, Lockout Tagout & Task Risk Assessments

• Experience working in Rotterdam Ports environment is a plus

• Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)

• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-driven mindset—you act instead of waiting
