Global Category Manager

We’re now looking for a motivated and curious individual to join our Products team as a Global Category Manager — a role perfectly suited for a graduate or earlycareer professional (1–4 years of experience) who wants to grow within procurement, sourcing, and category management.

You’ll be part of a supportive international network, helping manage our Tank & Hold Cleaning portfolio and working closely with suppliers, colleagues, and partners across regions.

• Contribute to global sourcing and category management for Chandlery and IMPA products.

• Support supplier qualification, performance followup, and improvement activities.

• Help ensure product quality, compliance, and consistency across markets.

• Assist in negotiating commercial terms and supplier agreements.

• Maintain and update product data and catalogues in our global systems.

• Analyze procurement insights and market trends to support category decisions.

• Collaborate with supply chain and sales teams to solve challenges and identify opportunities.

• Follow Wilhelmsen’s global processes and governance frameworks to ensure best practice.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply Chain, maritime studies, or similar.

• 1–4 years of relevant experience (procurement, sourcing, product coordination) — graduates with internships are welcome.

• An interest in global supplier networks and working across functions.

• Strong communication skills and a structured, detailoriented way of working.

• Comfortable working with product data, ERP/PIM systems, or catalogues.

• Analytical mindset with a proactive, solutionoriented approach.

• Fluent in English; open to international travel.
