Terminal Manager (f/m/d)

The Terminal Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Agrofert Nitrogen Terminal Europoort, leading a team of approx. 40 employees while driving operational excellence, asset availability, and continuous performance improvement.

• HSE Excellence & Compliance: Lead the development and enforcement of a robust HSE framework, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and corporate policies.
• Lead a local team

  Bridging day-to-day operations with the broader international Agrofert environment.

• Project Governance & Oversight: Provide governance and strategic oversight for major terminal projects, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, budget, and business objectives. Act as escalation point and decision-maker within project steering structures.…
• External & Government Relations: Serve as the primary interface with governmental agencies, local authorities, regulators, and key external stakeholders, safeguarding the company’s license to operate and supporting long-term business continuity.…
• Operational Excellence & Reliability: Actively lead initiatives to improve operational excellence, optimize processes, and maximize terminal availability and reliability.

  Hands-On Leadership: Demonstrate a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style, with the ability to operate effectively across all levels. Setting strategic direction.

• You have at least 10 years of experience in site leadership roles within the (petro-)chemical industry, supported by a solid technical and/or engineering background.
• You can lead, coach, and develop diverse teams into high-performing units.
• You show a track record of managing and working in an international environment, working for a Holding including necessary tasks (such as reporting, governance, etc.).
• You have a strong capability to manage operational and reputational crises with clear and effective communication.
• You have a demonstrated ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and deliver results.
• You demonstrate strong cost awareness and a solid understanding of business processes.
