Junior Trade Support

Kick-start your career in the heart of Rotterdam as a Junior Trade Support professional at Wilmar. In this role, you will work in the daily administration and follow-up of commercial contracts, working closely with Business and Account Managers, Middle Office and internal departments. You will help ensure that contracts, confirmations, master data, product codes and trade-related information are accurately processed in systems such as SAP and CRM. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how commercial processes are managed from deal confirmation to execution, while developing your skills within a global market leader based in Rotterdam.

• Administrate contracts for sales and purchase of products
• Check receipt of internal sales & purchase confirmations from business/account manager
• Check receipt of external confirmations from counterparties (suppliers and customers)
• Make sure that pre-contracts are submitted correctly into the ERP system (SAP)
• Check daily unconverted contract list from Middle Office in Singapore (HQ) and follow up
• Initiate contract changes with approved change forms and follow up
• Coordinate and support setting up new customers/vendors (counterpart details, VAT, limits, etc.)
• Support current master data is kept up to date (GTC, etc.)
• Validate new product creation requests from Trade Support perspective
• Review current code and support if needed delisting procedure
• Create trade rules for new product codes
• Support in preparation of reports (open contracts, P&L report per product category, weekly sales, etc)
• Support in commercial processes (preparation of customer visit presentations, PCF statements, questionnaires, etc.)
• Support in Trade Support processes (daily position, reconciliation, overdue tracking, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably business administration
• 1-2 years’ experience in a commercial or operational support role, preferably involving contract administration, order processing, master data maintenance or relevant internship experience in a comparable position (customer service/sales assistant)
• Speaking/reading/writing fluent English and Dutch
• Good skills in MS Office software
• Good skills in ERP software (SAP)
