This is the role
We believe a fluent HR back-office process is the beating heart of the HR department. How can we make sure all core HR processes are perfectly executed, while looking for ways to gain more efficiency? What is the consequence of this “simple” modification in the system and how can we pro-actively act on this? What tasks have priority and what can wait for tomorrow? Questions we must ask ourselves daily and that’s where you come in. As an HR Assistant at LyondellBasell you are the linking pin between the HR BP’s and the HR administration. As the first point of contact for your colleagues regarding HR administration you will be providing foundational HR Support in the widest sense of word. From life cycle administration (letters, contracts, benefits), new hire support and document control to general administrative support, preparing the payroll and lease car management. You partner directly with the HR BP’s and HR Managers and you will add value by making sure day to day business flows as smooth as possible while keeping an open mind for ways to align and improve the different processes we work with momentarily. Besides your day to day operational portfolio you always look for ways to improve and from that perspective you will participate or lead improvement projects focused on moving towards operational excellence. A very dynamic role where no day will be the same and where there is a lot of room to participate in the improvement of the total HR service!
This is who you are
As an HR Assistant at LyondellBasell you are a fast adapter, a self-starter and able to understand and act on the consequence of your action. As a structured administrative talent you understand the processes and complexity of different environments and business streams. You are creative in finding practical solutions to solve problems, you are organized and very well capable to prioritize.
This is what you bring
- A Secondary vocational degree in Human Resources Management or comparable
- Broad-based experience in HR administration, including employee relations in the Netherlands and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Dutch employment laws
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role
