• Manage and control all bulk shipments and deliveries in line with our sales and purchase agreements
• Prepare and agree on the supply chain planning with factories to ensure the factories and/or customers are supplied on time
• Handle shipping documents for import and export shipments including arranging shipment insurance. Manage the customs documentations. Arrange shipping bookings in SAP and other systems
• Check and approve all relevant invoices (shipping documents, approval for payments in SAP etc.)
• Arrange additional transport and purchase logistical services (charter barges, tank storage and trucks)
• Arrange, track delivery schedules, and monitor vessels positions
• Manage the inventory/stocks in cooperation with (tank)terminals
• Ensure timely and accurate communications with (tank)terminals, surveyors, shipping agents/lines, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor the loading and discharging process of inbound and outbound vessels
• Handle demurrage calculations for vessels, trucks, and containers
• Enter and follow up complaint/non-conformities and provide corrective and preventive action in NCIP tool

• MBO in logistics, planning or supply chain
• Internship or experience working with companies engaged in export/import and/or trading activities is preferred
• Speaking/reading/writing fluent English is a must, additional languages such as Dutch , French, Spanish or German are advantageous
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of import /export documentations and international trading procedures
• Commercial understanding and service minded
• High level of accuracy
• Ability to cope with stress/unpredictable situations
• Knowledge of transport and storage of bulk and packed cargo is preferred
• Good skills in ERP (SAP) software are preferred
• Pro-active and eager to find solutions and solve issues quickly
• Responsible and able to prioritize to meet short deadlines
• Naturally curious and with growth mindset
