Intern

At the location of ADM Europoort B.V. we process soybeans and rapeseed. We make various products from this, such as flour and oil for the food and animal feed industry. More than 325 people work at ADM Europoort in the bulk terminal, crush & extraction factory, refinery and soy protein concentrate (SPC) factory. These departments are supported by our own chemical and microbiological laboratory, maintenance & reliability department and the SHEQ department. We also work closely with our in-house contractors who provide (industrial) cleaning, scaffolding, insulation work and technical support.

The ADM Europoort office also houses large commercial and logistics departments, process automation and CAPEX project management teams; as well as departments for payroll, HR and IT.

An opportunity arise for an intern role in Europoort, the Netherlands. In this role you will help the area Utility Water. The primary purpose of the internship is to update documentation regarding water distribution system at Europoort.

During this internship you will work closely together with your colleagues with tasks ranging from:

• Adhere to all our OH&S requirements and policies.
• Assist with updating water distribution PI&Ds.
• Support the creation of a water and wastewater mass balance for the site.
• Collaborate to optimize the monitoring and measurability of water intake and distribution.
• Support the creation and implementation of tools to facilitate water reporting for the plant stakeholders.

The successful candidate has experience and capabilities in the following areas:

• Be a student of bachelor or master science in one of the following areas: chemical engineering, environmental engineering or process engineering;
• Very good communication skills, fluent (spoken and written) in Dutch and English;
• Domain Microsoft Office pack;
• Be proactive, results oriented, team worker;
