Application & Integration Architect

Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage and transportation provider for bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We also focus on opportunities in aquaculture & LNG. We are continuously seeking how we can add value for our customers.

In a pragmatic environment that we are we need you to come up with solutions that are ‘just enough’, balancing the needs of today with a vision for tomorrow. You will be doing this primarily in the following two roles:

• You will guide our business teams in further professionalizing and maturing their solution development process and IT landscapes. Agility and a strong focus on value are key – we want IT to be the enabler of business opportunities. Our divisions are increasingly working in line with the principles of agile solution development and are adopting a DevOps mindset. This is supported by our commitment to low-code technologies and cloud-native applications.
• You will further establish and refine our standards and practices needed to strengthen our integration landscape. We have an interesting mix of classic and newer technologies, spread across our IT and OT landscapes.

• Support the project teams towards optimally designed & governed solutions and integrations.
• Assist business analysts in optimally designing new products and integrations.
• Promote reuse, modularity, orchestration, and separation of concerns and protect from monolithic, static, non-scalable and poorly maintainable developments.
• Manage integration discussions around IT projects, products, and platforms.
• Create and maintain standards, guidelines, patterns, and frameworks.
• Recognize and bring forward new ideas and technologies in low-code and integration.

• HBO or University degree.
• Experience with low-code (preferably OutSystems) and integration platforms.
• 5+ years of tangible senior development experience and 2+ years of tangible architecture experience in an international environment.
• Experience in or exposure to the Microsoft Azure development, integration, and data/analytics service portfolio.
• Strong communication skills – ability to convince based on knowledge, personality, and seniority.
