Junior IT Coordinator Team Europe & Americas

Are you highly motivated by helping people improve their IT knowledge on the latest Microsoft 365 tools? Would you like to work in an international environment, where English is the corporate language, utilizing the very latest Modern Workplace technology and applications? If so, you could be the new team member for GBS IT in Rotterdam!

You will work mainly in our office in Schiedam and will often visit one of our other locations. There you will support and coordinate local issues. Besides the local problems, you will also support the rest of the global support team when needed - as they also support you in the daily work.

We believe in good proactive IT Support and want to empower our users with knowledge of the tools they need to use to perform their job. In addition to the Microsoft 365 applications, we utilize the functionalities in ServiceNow to automate as much as possible, leaving our team to focus on user interaction, along with technical issues that may require physical attention. We also have high focus on providing great service, so monitoring user satisfaction and identifying improvement potential is an integral part of this role. This role will also coordinate local activities and projects related to implementation of new business applications, infrastructure changes as well as management of local IT vendors.

As you will be dealing with the client daily, it‘s important that you thrive in a position where you have a lot of internal and external interactions. With this in mind, it should be a normal part of your nature to be proactive and meeting people .

We see the right candidate as someone who has some (or hopefully all) of the listed qualifications below:

• Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English skills.

• Ability to understand & convey complex IT Scenarios.

• MBO level degree in IT or Business Administration or relevant industry experience.

• Service minded attitude and ability to communicate with all levels within the business.

• Understanding of ITIL processes.
