Supply Planning Manager (scheduling)

We have built our first ever innocent-owned factory, called ‘the blender’, and we’re looking for a Supply Planning Manager (scheduling) to ensure we can deliver the best service to our drinkers. In the role of Supply Planning Manager (production scheduling), you’ll be responsible for the team that create the ingredients, blending and filling plans to ensure that we have enough smoothies and juices for all our drinkers in Europe. The operations team will be working off your team’s outputs so it’s crucial that you’re a super strong communicator and able to stay calm under pressure when you find out that things aren’t going to plan – that’s also your moment to shine: to find a solution as quickly as possible, to minimise the impact on service and cost. This role is the central point for many processes, so excellent collaboration with many teams is important to ensure the latest inputs and insight are fed into an optimised plan.

Mid-long term production planning and collaboration within supply planning team:

• Blender planning team representative & first point of contact for group supply planning managers;
• Chair the Daily Planning Meeting, helping facilitate discussion & capture/follow up of actions;
• Coordination with the wider Supply Chain Team to ensure production plans are met;
• Accountable for tracking & updating progress against the blending location ramp up and trial approach;
• Owner of blender capacity (one source of the truth) and partnering with capacity manager to lead on volume transitions;
• Ensure correct daily routines in place to manage stock accuracy in D365 and to report correctly on weekly and monthly KPI"s.
  
  
• Partnering with stakeholders in the factory:
• Set up and maintain interdisciplinary relationships with internal stakeholders, such as Quality, Maintenance, Finance and Operations.
• Partner with Maintenance to align the shutdown plan & ensure the resultant scheduling constraints are fed into the capacity view
• Ensure production priorities are translated from planning manager partnering to operations to support service, with "Plan B" strategy already known (i.e. if need to cut/add/change SKU splits, etc.)
• Landing change and improvements:
• Facilitate change on behalf of blender planning team & ensure team is up to date (i.e. validation of new formats, new blends coming in, innovation)
• Lead on required analysis and proposals for production optimisations, including frequency changes, MOQs, sequencing (etc.) with central planning team to ensure blender flow
• Lead on SKU reliability reporting & improvements with corrective actions in place to hit our site target
• Planning team representative for systems improvements, bugs & testing support.
• Coordination of trial requirements and communications back into the rest of the planning team
• Continuous improvement in ways of working for mid-long term planning at the blender
