Financial Controller

As Medior Financial Controller you are part of the Accounting Department. You will be working in a dynamic, international and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to develop yourself.

You will be responsible for analysing and checking the monthly financials of Viterra B.V. and affiliated companies. In addition, you will focus on the preparation of the internal and external reporting of 50 other companies with financing, investment, logistics and insurance activities.

To be successful in this role you need a few years of experience in a similar position. You will fit well within the organization and the department when you have a pro-active attitude and strong communication skills.

• Analysing and checking the monthly financials of Viterra B.V. and affiliated companies;
• Writing financial statements for these companies based on Dutch GAAP;
• Preparing internal and external reporting of 50 other companies with financing, investment, logistics and insurance activities;
• IFRS group reporting on a monthly basis;
• Tax and VAT reporting;
• Overhead reporting, including budget vs actual analysis;
• Intercompany reconciliations and intercompany funding;
• Ad-hoc business and IT projects.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or any relevant area;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar financial control position;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Pro-active attitude, strong communication skills and no-nonsense mentality;
• Curiosity and willingness to learn the company’s business;
• Accurate, team player, strong sense of responsibility;
• IT literate with preferably knowledge of MS Office and SAP;
• Fluent in Dutch (preferably) and English (in word and writing).
