In this role you coordinate the physical and administrative flow of all incoming and outgoing shipments in the most cost-efficient way, ensuring factories and/or customers are supplied on time and that sales and purchase agreements are met. • Manage and control all bulk shipments and deliveries in line with our sales and purchase agreements
• Prepare and agree on the supply chain planning with factories to ensure the factories and/or customers are supplied on time
• Handle shipping documents for import and export shipments including arranging shipment insurance. Manage the customs documentations. Arrange shipping bookings in SAP and other systems
• Check and approve all relevant invoices (shipping documents, approval for payments in SAP etc.)
• Arrange & track delivery schedules, and monitor vessels positions
• Manage the inventory/stocks in cooperation with (tank)terminals
• Ensure timely and accurate communications with (tank)terminals, surveyors, shipping agents/lines, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor the loading and discharging process of inbound and outbound vessels
• Handle demurrage calculations for vessels, trucks, and containers under the supervision of a senior executive or team lead.
• Enter and follow up complaint/non-conformities and provide corrective and preventive action in NCIP tool

• MBO+ / HBO or any proven education background in logistics
• Internship or working experience with companies engaged in export/import and/or trading activities is preferred
• Well-developed communication skills in English (spoken and written), Dutch is a plus
• Good skills and knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
• Knowledge of import and export documentations and procedures is preferred
• Knowledge of transport and storage of bulk and packed cargo is preferred
• Pro-active and eager to find solutions and solve issues quickly
• Responsible and able to prioritize to meet short deadlines
• Knowledge of specific contract terms as custom of the trade (FOSFA & NOFOTA) is a
