Bunker Purchaser

We are looking for a Bunker Purchaser to join our team at our modern office in Rotterdam Blaak – right in the vibrant heart of the city, with great connections and an inspiring working environment.

As a Bunker Purchaser, you are involved in the daily procurement of marine fuels for seagoing vessels. You will work closely with colleagues, suppliers, and customers across the globe, gaining exposure to international markets and commercial decisionmaking.

Your responsibilities include:

• Purchasing marine fuels under competitive commercial terms
• Maintaining daily contact with international suppliers and clients
• Monitoring market developments, prices and trends
• Supporting negotiations and contractual agreements
• Handling the operational and administrative flow of bunker orders

We are looking for someone with a commercial mindset, strong interest in shipping, and the motivation to learn and grow.

You ideally bring:

• 0–2 years of relevant work experience or a recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  (e.g. Maritime Studies, Logistics, Economics, International Business, Supply Chain or similar)
• Interest in bunkering, shipping, trading or commodities
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Accuracy and the ability to perform well in a dynamic environment
• Good command of English (Dutch is a plus)
